10 Steps - Google Indexing Guide

Having your blog indexed by Google makes it to be alive and visible. Everything about Search Engine Optimization (SEO) starts when your pages are indexed, in time, your blog will receive traffic This guide will give you now 10 tips to let your blog breathe Google's air in one hour or less.

1. Write at least 3 posts. To index you, Google sends the crawler to check your site. And it is important for it to have something to check to.


2. Add your URL on every profile you have on social networks like Facebook or Twitter, will generate some traffic but more important is that the crawler pays attention to the presence of your link in other places.


3. If you speak Spanish,  go to EspaInfo and add your blog there. You have the "agregar empresa o página web" option, click there and follow the steps, they tell you to.


4. Add your blog in blog directories and search engines.


5. Share every post in Twitter, Facebook, Reddit.


6. Invite your friends to see your blog. Make it popular.


7. Use free ping services and ping your blog. (Pingoat, Pingomatic).


8. Join a forum and insert your blog URL in your user signature. Comment some subjects so people can see you.


9. Find a friend who has a blog and ask him nicely to put your link in his blog.


10. Use viral traffic free sites for link exchange. You can find some free sites here.

After doing all this, insert your blog URL on Google search and see if you are indexed. You can check with Google Webmasters Tools also. If you find this is not enough then you have some helpful free tools listed on this blog, that helps you get indexed by Google, rank your position and keep it high. Free Unique Keyword

Today I checked Webmasters Tools,  provided by Google, to see what keywords found Google related to my blog. And I was very surprised to see that Dorin Hornea, writer of this blog, is listed there. His name became a keyword. So I entered his name in Google and I discovered our blog on the first page.  Then I tried it using my name "Ema Ile" and guess what? I had to surf seven pages to get to my blog. Why? May be my name is to close to "e-mail" and it is harder to identify it. Anyways, I wonder how many more posts do I have to write to be considered a keyword?

The point is: use your name to sign your posts. And if you don't find it original enough, choose an original nickname. That way, any search on your name, will lead to your blog.

So, make yourself visible, brand your name and keep blogging!
